RAVENS WOODTURNING + DOWN AISLE 12 POP UP

Join us at HOSTcraft for a special Sunday pop-up celebrating local craft and thoughtful making with Raven’s Woodturning and Down Aisle 12, Sunday, September 13 from 11 AM–2 PM.

Raven’s Woodturning is the Tijeras-based husband-and-wife team of Jeremy and Kayleigh Valentine, creating beautiful, utilitarian wood pieces for the kitchen and home. Jeremy brings nearly 20 years of woodturning experience, crafting bowls, plates, rolling pins, cooking utensils, cutting and serving boards, and more using hand-guided tools. Kayleigh creates pieces including wooden earrings and speakers and takes custom orders for boards. Their workshop is powered by solar energy, and wood waste is reused as garden mulch, compost, pathway covering and chicken bedding—a thoughtful approach to craft and resources that we love at HOSTcraft.

Down Aisle 12 will be popping up with us and serving drinks while you shop and meet the makers. The first 10 drinks are on HOSTcraft, so come early!

Bring your own reusable shopping bag and receive 10% off your HOSTcraft purchase during the pop-up—our small thank-you for helping us reduce single-use packaging.

Come meet the makers, discover work made here in New Mexico, grab a drink and spend a slow Sunday with us in Old Town. Free and open to all.

Fall’s Cornucopia Potluck

Join us around the table for Fall’s Cornucopia, a community potluck celebrating the abundance of the season.

Bring a wholesome dish to share, along with the extra fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, or other garden abundance you won’t use yourself. We’ll share a meal, swap the harvest, and talk about preserving the season through canning and pickling.

Please bring your own plates, bowls and utensils, plus a few reusable containers for leftovers and garden goodies to take home. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, please don’t bring disposable or plastic items. Compostable natural materials are welcome, but no plastic compostables.

BYOB—bring whatever you’d like to drink and your own glass. We’ll have a bottle opener, plus some extra plates, stemware and utensils on hand in case you forget or aren’t able to bring your own this time.

We’ll have our little green bucket on hand with one goal: nothing from our gathering goes to the landfill.

Come with food, come with abundance, and leave with something from someone else’s garden.
